The conference started yesterday, but I couldn’t attend because I’ve been taking a summer seminar for the last two weeks in multimedia/multimodal scholarship at the Institute for Multimedia Literacy. Anyway when I got here this morning, the woman working the registration desk went, “Oh, you’re thatguy.”
That guy? What guy -- that brilliant up-and-coming scholar? That handsome devil? That charming man?
Turns out I’m like the only person here who didn’t register online and they’d, uh, noticed that -- didn’t know if I was gonna show.
